Developmental Screening ASQ
A developmental screening is a brief, easy-to-use tool to identify young children who may benefit from further assessment.
We have opted to use the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) suite of tools to help parents and a range of service providers
work together to begin to decide which additional supports, if any, a particular child could benefit from.
The ASQ is available in two forms: the ASQ-3, which considers overall development in areas such as
communication, gross and fine motor, problem solving, and personal/social;
and the ASQ:SE-2, which stands for social-emotional and focuses solely on this crucial aspect of development in depth.
